Food Safety
Fresh fruits & vegetables arrive at Farmer’s Fresh facilities daily. Although most of the processing and packaging is automated, the initial quality inspection steps are performed by hand. Moreover, digital temperature-loggers installed at various critical points along the various processes, monitor temperature to ensure an optimum environment. Using a first-in/first-out inventory system together with comprehensive quality inspections, we guarantee that the fruits & vegetables are always of the highest quality.
Farmer’s Fresh employs the HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) program. Having specific inspection points at each stage of the production lines (receiving, preparation, processing, packaging and shipping) the end user knows that the fruits & vegetables are of the best quality and perfectly safe.
Farmer’s Fresh equipment is state of the art and manufactured from non-permeable stainless steel & food grade plastics to ensure cleanliness. We use knife peelers rather than the old abrasive method to remove skins in order to ensure freshness after processing. Fresh fruit & vegetables are washed and our sanitization systems offer real-time monitoring to help prevent food borne illness outbreaks. Also, all equipment is dismantled and sanitized on a rotating schedule.

Our two facilities accommodate a total of 3100 m2 for cold storage packing and the processing our products takes place under controlled temperatures and strict hygienic procedures.
